Chrysler Roadside Assistance Review

Rating: Excellent

On the two occasions I've used the service, service arrived quickly and was courteously completed within a short period. I didn't experience any hassles getting the service or work done. Just what it should be. The second event was during a period of extreme cold and massive backlogs for service, yet service arrived after an hour of waiting and 30 minutes on hold to make the request. Not bad considering peers waited for days. For the record, my calls were outsourced to Academy Towing and Dr. Hook respectively.

My family and I were travling and were broke down. I called the 1-800 # for chrysler/dodge road side assistance. Within 20 minutes they had came out and towed us to a near dealer Button Dodge. They were excellent both the tow and the service repair visit. I am greatfull to Dodge and
Button Dodge for saving our vacation.

Thank You
Mrs. Connie Copeland

I called for assistance for a flat tire. I was quoted a time of 40 minutes for my wait. After one hour, I received a call back that the company coming had cancelled because I was out of the service area. I was told it would be another two hour wait for someone to come. My handicapped husband ended up coming. The piece of junk jack that is supplied by Dodge broke after my van was in the air causing the vehicle to fall. We had to go buy another jack at Sears for $75.00. My husband had to leave work early and I was 2 hours late for work. All together we are out about $300.00 in the cost of a jack and lost time at work. This could have been avoided if service could have been provided in a timely manner.

I chose to use the roadside assistance that came with the purchase of my ram truck on 3 occasions. Every hour or so each time I called back to see when the tow truck was coming. After about 8 hours the tow company contracted by roadside assistance called to verify the wrong information provided to them. On both occasions I provided the VIN # as well as a description of the vehicle to roadside assistance. As I am writing this,I am still waiting for my third tow for my truck with 16000 miles. It has been 12 hours since r.a. said that they were aquiring a tow.
Next time I need towed I will definitely pay a private company. Chryslers roadside assistance is terrible and not worth the hassle.

Terrible customer service. I ended up using my AAA App after 30 minutes on the phone with Chrysler. They claimed I needed to pay $197 to tow it to my preferred dealer which was only 4 miles further. The roadside assistance card in my new car said there is no charge for up to 10 miles further. I stayed on the phone because at first they could not find my file. At the end of being on the phone a full hour, a customer relations peron named Chelsea was thick and not helpful. AAA came within an hour of my request while Chrysler wasted an hour of my time on the phone and wanted me to pay. Chrysler needs better and brighter employees instead of dullards!
